1. Acceptance

By creating a LearnSage account, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

LearnSage is an AI-powered study tool that generates lessons, flashcards, quizzes, summaries, and mock exams from your uploaded study documents.

Important: LearnSage is NOT a provider of professional, academic, or exam advice. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should verify important information independently before relying on it for any academic, professional, or exam purpose. LearnSage is a study aid, not a substitute for authoritative sources.

3. User Obligations

• Only upload documents you have the right to use (your own notes, licensed materials, or content you own)
• Do not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Do not share your account credentials with others
• Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer AI outputs for the purpose of building a competing product
• Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits, payment systems, or security measures

4. Subscription & Billing

LearnSage Pro is billed at A$22 per month (AUD; local currency pricing available at checkout) via Stripe. New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with access to all study modes, subject to trial limits (200 pages total, unlimited subjects and documents, limited monthly usage).

• Trial accounts have unlimited subjects and documents, but a lifetime cap of 200 pages total (a PDF page, a PPTX slide, or ~500 words of DOCX each count as 1 page), and limited monthly usage. This limit does not reset.
• After your trial, a subscription is required to continue generating new content
• Billing is processed by Stripe — your card details are held by Stripe, not LearnSage

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until that date.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

All subscription payments and top-up purchases are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time; Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details.

7. Intellectual Property

• Your uploaded documents remain your property. LearnSage retains no rights to your uploaded content after account deletion.
• AI-generated study content (lessons, flashcards, quizzes, summaries) is provided for your personal, non-commercial study use.
• The LearnSage platform, branding, and software are the intellectual property of LearnSage and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

LearnSage is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• LearnSage is not liable for exam outcomes, academic decisions, or any reliance on AI-generated content
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months prior to the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may request account deletion by emailing privacy@learnsage.app. On deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and notify you by email for material changes. Continued use of LearnSage after notification constitutes acceptance.
